Welcome everyone to the Sylvanus Bible Blog.
This is an offshoot of my main website, the Sylvanus Bible (www.sylvanusbible.com), where I am aiming to consolidate a formal translation of the New Testament that is fundamentally accurate to both Greek and English. To do that, I need your help..... in more than one way.

English is my second language, so if you see any misuse of the tongue, please correct me. I am also a novice in the Biblical Greek, though I have more than many tools. Luke 1:46-50

⁴⁶Now Mariam said: "My soul magnifies Master, ⁴⁷and my spirit jubilates over God my Saviour ⁴⁸because He looked upon the lowliness of His servant girl, for look! from now on, all generations will count me blissful, ⁴⁹because the powerful One designed great things for me, and holy is His name, ⁵⁰and His mercy to those fearing him is for generations (and generations*).

Luke 1:43-45

⁴³And how is this mine that the mother of my Sovereign would come to me? ⁴⁴For look! As the sound of your greeting came into my ears, the baby leaped in my womb in jubilation. ⁴⁵And blissful is she that believed, because* there shall be an accomplishment of what Master has spoken to her."

1 John 1:1-3
